I acually waited a lot of times to see in real time the tracker updating in the Tracker's tab of the detailed information, the update really happens but the torrent remains red (and in the private tracker's websites I don't see that torrent as being seeded by me), the only way for it to becomes green is if I update it manually or stop and start the torrent.Īnother thing is, even if the torrent is red, the time it will take to update is the same as it was green, which is nonsense, depending on the tracker in question, this might take 1 hour or so and even after that the torrent remains red.īasically if the torrent is red the automatic update should be done more often, like every 5 minutes or so and the torrent should also become green. source: How do i tweak my utorrent 3.1. Unless I update them manually they will NEVER become green again and it doesn't matter the time I wait and how many times they update themselves. 1 Change your download speeds to unlimited and upload speeds to unlimited as well as go to the speed tab and instead of 5 seconds put 5 minutes to improve your speed. I thought installing Panda antivirus might have created the problem but even if that is removed the old torrents wont seed and appear red in uTorrent and new torrents cant find seeds to download. Everyone thing had been working fine with uTorrent and redacted.ch until recently. Since the progress bar indicates 100 and the completed file is transferred from c:temp to c:final, Ive assumed that the torrent is complete. uTorrent seeding turned red with tracker redacted.ch. its status changes from Downloading to Queued Seed. Every day a couple of torrents stop seeding properly and their bar color becomes red instead of green. All torrents in my uTorrent list had a red cross, and the message: Error: Cant open.
